Magpies are a species in Ghost of a Tale. They were originally from Myghlar, and now reside in the ancient tower on the island of Periclave. They treat stories as currency; not only facts, but also songs and legends. For the most part, they would only answer to royalty, but admired anyone who was talented in the art of singing and storytelling.
