Tilo's Lute is a miscellaneous item in Ghost of a Tale. It is Tilo's lute that he uses to play songs. It is in his possession when he wakes up in his cell in the jail of Dwindling Heights Keep.
It is vaguely implied that the lute has some supernatural properties. It was made by Tilo's teacher from driftwood he found on the shore of Lake Vaelia. Lady Duinlan remarks that she senses something special about it, possibly allowing Tilo to commune with the dead, and Fatale later speculates that the wood in the lute protects Tilo and his companions from the Green Flame.
